Health care volunteers and supplies needed for Gulf War II protests - Please Join Us! Physicians For Social Responsibility - Los Angeles will be helping to coordinate health care professionals (MD's, DO's, NP's, RN's, PA's, EMT's, etc) and others volunteering to provide health care at the site of the large protests planned in various locations around Southern California after the beginning of Gulf War II.

Health care volunteers and supplies needed for Gulf War II protests - Please Join Us!

The unprecedented size and scope of public demonstrations for peace over the last several months - even before the formal escalation of hostilities by the US and Britain - suggests that protests after the start of Gulf War II will be massive.

The largest protests are anticipated to be at the location of the Federal Building on Wilshire Blvd. in West LA. Other protests are planned for Pasadena, Claremont, Orange County and downtown Los Angeles. (See below for details about scheduling and locations and URL for additional info.)

The first aid stations planned for the Gulf War II protests will allow health care professionals the opportunity to provide basic first aid commensurate with the practitioners' level of training and comfort. If you are a licensed health care provider and plan to volunteer, please bring picture ID and current license.....

Health care providers who can donate their services and/or supplies please contact Paul Kawika Martin, PSR Peace & Security Program Associate at (213) 386-4901 ext. 117 or paulm@igc.org for further information. We look forward to hearing from you!
