Supporting our troops, our Country and our President
"War on Terrorism" Rally
Saturday, Feb 1, 2:30 PM, Seal Beach Pier, Seal Beach CA
Mission: To show strong support for our country, troops and president. To let the world know that we are strong, passionate, united, caring and generous. To give pride and emotional comfort to Americans in times of trouble, doubt and need.
No, we do not want war, but if war is what is required, so be it.
We do this through public awareness via the media, marches and rallies, printed awareness programs and one-on-one communication.
Please join us for this peaceful, silent march!
The Proud Americans Organization has organized a "War on Terrorism March".This rally and silent march will take place Saturday, Feb. 1, at 2:30 PM starting at the base of the Seal Beach Pier and walking past City Hall and to the park on Electric Ave 7 blocks away. The leaders are inviting all who take pride in American to join in showing their support for our country, our troops and our President. The group is discouraging government bashing as well as anti war protesters from attending. The group does not encourage war, but believes that if our leadership believes war is needed, it supports that war. They ask all attending to carry a small American Flag.
The group was form as a result of all the anti-war, anti-US, anti-Government, anti President events that have been getting the media's attention lately. Proud Americans (PA''s) believe there is a silent majority of people who love the U.S. and support the government and its position on Iraq and the war on terrorism. Although they do not have a Hollywood personality on board at this time, they do expect to get a few who believe in the cause, one's that are proud to be an American.
The group will remind people of some of the great things that the United States has done in its short life. Things like placing a man and flag on the moon, our involvement in the end of World War II, Desert Storm, our space program, as well as our beautiful country with places like Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Mt Rushmore to name a few. The U.S. has produced great people that have made huge discoveries to the world. We are a great nation. A proud one.
The organization believes that there is a strong silent majority of people who support this cause, but just don't have the time to make any noise because they are too busy taking care of their families and doing their jobs. We are hoping that some of these people will come out and support our cause.

Do not get into conversations with anti-Americans. It may turn ugly. Better off being silent.
You cannot change their minds. Just like Saddam cannot change ours. Don't try.
Walk safely, stay out of the street, and obey all signs, lights, and police. They are our friends.
Enjoy and have fun. Say a prayer for our troops, country and President.
Spread the word, gather friends for another rally.
Enjoy and respect our country and freedoms.
Our belief is simple. That the President is better suited to make decisions on National matters. He is better informed. As such, we support him in his policy. We will not be able to change anyone's mind, so we should not try. We are the silent majority. As such, by rallying and marching quietly, we are caring a big stick, (The President is behind us!). We are supporting our troops, country and President, and letting our fellow silent majority go about there business and family lives. We are proud of ourselves and our actions. We have nothing to prove, we know as much or as little as most Americans. So I suggest we march quietly, having conversations with one another. The conversations should not be loud. We should not get into any discussions with anyone disagreeing with us. It is their right to do so. Let them make a fool of themselves, not us. We want peace, but not at any price. We are respectful of all civil people.
Think about this, the anti-American protesters cannot change our minds, nor can we change theirs, no matter how much talking we do. So we remain silent but seen.
The same holds true for Saddam. No matter how much talking he does, trying to convince us that he is a great and wonderful person and has no weapons, Proud Americans have a hard time believing it.... but it does seem to work on the anti-American crowd. I suggest our position is, to a degree, the same as the peace-niks, we do not want to go to war. The difference is we support our president if war is required.
