On Tuesday, April 23, the Peace Mother Geeta Sacred Song will embark on a peace pilgrimage to answer calls she’s been receiving from around the world.

Beginning in Australia, Peace Mother Geeta Sacred Song will perform the opening and closing ceremonies for the Wesak Festival, at Ayers Rock on April 26-28, 2002. This festival originated centuries ago in the Wesak Valley of Tibet, and is considered the Holiest Day of the year. It is a time when the master teachers of all times, like Jesus, Buddha, Quan Yin and other Enlightened Beings descend to bless the faithful in a Universal Mass. The festival, during the full moon in Taurus, occurs when the energies of Eastern & Western Religions merge and spiritual renewal and unification is offered.

“This is the realization of beauty-full dreams and visions I’ve held for many years. The Global Wisdom Circle will gather in Australia, and in other ailing sites on the Earth to create harmony and balance through sharing ancient teachings, sacred ceremony, prayers, song and dance,” says Peace Mother.

The other sites currently on her “Peace Pilgrimage” calendar include three days of public conferences, May 1-3 in Hong Kong, followed by two days of private counseling, and ceremonies and offerings for the land. In late June, the Peace Mother will again gather the spiritual elders of the Global Wisdom Circle in Gujarat, India to help heal the tension and violence between Hindus and Muslims.

“The Earth chooses Peace! Now is a time of great acceleration, it is a great time to be alive… and it is a supremely important time to consciously choose balance, light, and peace with every breath,” proclaims Peace Mother.

The next stop on the “Peace Pilgrimage” is Scotland for Spirit Aid 2002. During the week of July 13th, the town of Glasgow will be transformed into a Global Peace Village incorporating many traditions and celebrations for a festival in the name of Peace! The Spirit Aid festival will culminate in a two-day concert on July 20th and 21st which will be televised and headlined by well-known musical talents for the purpose of raising millions for charities and nonprofit organizations around the world. The Peace Mother has been invited to offer workshops and perform songs from her new albums during the concert.

Remarking on her busy schedule, the Peace Mother serenely replies, “It is my duty to pray for humanity, it is my duty to make offerings to the Earth.”
