Hi gang. I had an idea the other night to try and start up a loose net organization to promote Indymedia outlets where-ever we can. I was thinking about Gideons International, who place Bibles in the desk drawers of hotels around the country, and thought maybe we could pattern ourself after that, perhaps placing Indymedia.org bumper stickers or cards in drawers, and slapping stickers on telephone polls and such. Maybe even taking bigger actions now and again

like the hanging of banners.

The name that came to mind immediately for such a group was

Indyans International (after the Gideons again). We could easily set up a small web site with promotional materials that could be printed out, and maybe start a mailing list of sorts, just to keep each other appraised of the various succeses or difficulties we've had in getting the word out in our areas.
