SCV Resistance Rally
Assemble in front of the College of the Canyons University Center at 4:30 pm on February 9th as we stand up for our democracy and our fellow Americans. Please be respectful of campus staff, property, students, and guests.
On February 9th, College of the Canyons will host a legislative reception honoring Republican legislators in our community. Congressman Steve Knight, State Senator Scott Wilk, and Assemblymen Dante Acosta and Tom Lackey will be in attendence.
Steve Knight has time to come home from DC to pat wealthy campaign donors on the back and mingle with the movers and shakers of SCV, but he says he has no room in his schedule to meet constituents in district to talk about issues that matter to us.
If Congressman Knight won't come to us, it's time we go to him. Steve Knight wants to ignore the thousands of people in his district who say NO to taking healthcare from over 20 million Americans. This is our chance to take action and make our voice heard. Don't stand on the sidelines. Get in the fight. It's up to us.
