OXNARD: March to Protest Police Abuse/Alfonso Limon Jr. 2-Year Anniversary March

Every day, the Oxnard Police Department mistreats members of our community. Unjust incarcerations, car impounds, beatings, and casual disrespect are just some of the acts we are forced to endure. Meanwhile, the District Attorney and the City have excused every unjust death and use of force inflicted by the police, while our communities are forced to pay the salaries of the very same people who mistreat and control us.

Rejecting this humiliation, we call on the people of Oxnard to show its strength and stand up to defend our common dignity. "El Valiente Vive Hasta Que El Pueblo Lo Permite"

We demand:

- LEAVE OUR YOUTH IN PEACE - End the harassment and abuse!

- KILLER COPS OUT OF OUR STREETS AND SCHOOLS - Officers with blood on their hands like Pedro Rodriguez don't belong at Pacifica High!

- ACCOUNTABILITY - We need Civilian Oversight and Community Control of the Oxnard Police Department!

- Money for Services, not for Militarizing our Streets!

Timothy Chacon, Jose Luis Ramirez, Robert Ramirez, Michael Mahoney, Alfonso Limon, Juan Zavala, and all victims of the police in Oxnard and beyond - PRESENTE!

OXNARD: Defender Nuestra Dignidad!

-Polic?as asesinos fuera de nuestra calles y escuelas!
