DESCRIPTION:
Last year 183 union activists were murdered in Colombia. In the last 15 years 4000 trade unionists have died at the hands of death squads. These butchers are supported by landowners, multinationals like CocaCola and Nestle and the governments of the US and Colombia.



Two Colombian union activists that have escaped the hands of death squads will speak –

Francisco Ruiz of SINTRAMINENERGETICA the Colombian miners’ union and
