Sep 9 Friday 6:45pm, Anaheim: Meet Peace Activists Brian Wilson, author of the new book Blood on the Tracks, and special guest Frank Dorrel. Brian Wilson is a Vietnam veteran best remembered as the activist run over by a train while blocking transportation of munitions in Concord, CA, in 1987. The weapons were destined for the U.S. wars in Central America. Brian lost both legs when the train sped up instead of stopping. Frank Dorrel, a U.S. Air Force vet, organizes many Los Angeles area anti-war events. He also publishes and distributes books and films such as Addicted to War and What I've Learned About U.S. Foreign Policy: The War Against the Third World. Copies of Blood on the Tracks will be available for . A meet and greet with refreshments will start at 6:45pm, the program at 7:15pm.
