Comedian and Emmy Award winner Jonathan Katz, best known for creating, writing and starring in the Comedy Central hit animated series, ?Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist,? will speak to people with multiple sclerosis (MS) about his personal experience living with the disease. Katz was diagnosed with MS in 1997. Despite his diagnosis, he has continued to pursue successful productions in Hollywood and New York, developing new ideas and acting in award-winning shows and films. Jonathan encourages others with MS not to let the disease stand in the way of their ambitions.
Joseph Lacy, MD is the head of the Department of Neurology at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation and a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University. A member of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Lacy has given numerous lectures on the topic of multiple sclerosis, has written several journal articles and has contributed to a number of books on neurological issues.
