Hit + Run and the Townhouse Gallery are proud to launch a solo show by Los Angeles native and highly prolific street artist CRYPTIK. The artist will be installing new and classic works, plus showcasing exclusive merchandise for sale. CRYPTIK?S works utilizes his traditional imagery ? Buddha, Ganesha, Gandhi, Palm and CRYPTIK?S iconic logo in various ways. The works, which the artist refers to as ?The CRYPTIK Movement?, offer ?people a different perspective, a broader philosophy of life. It?s a journey into the inner dimensions of the mind, a reawakening of the sacred, and exploration of the Greater Mysteries? typo-graphical.com. Just steps from the beach and the Venice graffiti walls, Townhouse Gallery will be opening their doors during the monthly Venice Art Crawl on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 6 to10 pm to present this amazing show. The official After party is next door in the basement Del Monte Speakeasy, with a performance by Brainfeeder recording artist Thundercat & Friends, plus djs Sacred, Valtron and Toks, the fun goes all night long. The gallery is located at 56 Windward Ave, Venice, CA 90291.
