In recent weeks the illegitimate government of Honduras has stepped up its repression against the popular resistance movement, which is not only fighting for a new constitution, but also battling land seizures by agribusiness, mining and tourist interests.

A national strike has been called for March 30 to demand an end to the killing of activists and freedom for all political prisoners. The ANSWER Coalition Los Angeles in alliance with diverse Honduras solidarity organizations is holding a protest outside of the consulate in support of the FNRP’s struggle for justice. Join us!

En las últimas semanas el gobierno ilegítimo de Honduras ha recrudecido su represión contra el movimiento de resistencia popular, que no sólo está luchando por una constituyente sino también opone resistencia al despojo de tierras por parte de las empresas de agrocombustibles, proyectos turísticos y minerías.

El 30 de marzo se realizará un paro cívico nacional para exigir un alto al asesinato de activistas y libertad para todos los presos políticos. La coalición ANSWER Los Angeles, aliada con diversas organizaciones de solidaridad con Honduras, realizará una protesta en el consulado hondureño en apoyo a la justa lucha del FNRP. ¡Venga con nosotros!
