Join ANSWER Coalition and other organizations at a Public Forum on Oct. 19 to meet the leaders of social movements in Honduras. There will be eyewitness reports from these organizers and activists who worked to resist the U.S.-backed coup in 2009 and are now continuing the struggle to build a true people?s movement. They will describe their success in obtaining over 1.3 million signatures demanding a constituent assembly to rewrite the current constitution, which was created in 1982 by a military dictatorship with U.S. support.

Featured speakers include:

? Miriam Miranda, Coordinator of the Fraternal Organization of Black Hondurans (OFRANEH)

? ?ngel Antonio Jim?nez, Advisor to Campesino Communities and Cooperatives

-15 donation requested. No one turned away for lack of funds.
