Food Not Bombs co-founder Keith McHenry will talk about his thirty years

of cooking for peace and working to end hunger, poverty and war. Food Not

Bombs shares vegan and vegetarian meal with the hungry in over 1,000 cities

around the globe each week. The 45 minute presentation includes the

history, principles and current actions of the Food Not Bombs movement

around the world, a 15 minute video about Food Not Bombs in Africa, closing

with questions from the audience. Keith will also provide literature,

books, t-shirts and dvds about Food Not Bombs. Keith has volunteered with

Food Not Bombs for nearly 30 years. He spent two years in jail and faced

life in prison in California for his work with Food Not Bombs. Amnesty

International declared Keith and all Food Not Bombs volunteers ?Prisoners

of Conscience? if convicted. He has collected, cook and shared vegan meals

with Food Not Bombs groups in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia

and the Middle East. This is also a great way to get involved with the

Food Not Bombs group in your community.
