Join the Party for Socialism and Liberation on Friday, Dec. 4, for a Public Forum in Los Angeles. There will be political talks, discussion and opportunities for action. Join the struggle for socialism today!

* Building the Movement for Revolutionary Change: A new period of class struggle in the United States is coming. As the worst economic crisis since the 1930s throws millions of workers out of their homes and jobs, billionaire bankers are riding high on trillions of taxpayer dollars. Budget cuts are gutting social services and education, and capitalist politicians say its going to get worse. We must fight back!

What kind of movement can reverse these trends? What role do socialists play in increasing the organization of the working class? Why is a revolutionary Marxist party necessary in 2010? Come discuss these questions and more with a party already organizing and fighting for workers\' and students\' rights!

* Defend Mumia Abu-Jamal\'s Life! Political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal has been on death row since 1983, after being wrongfully convicted in a trial wrought with racism and corruption. The struggle to win his freedom has grown into a national and international movement, successfully overturning his death sentence in 2001. Now, there are new attempts to execute Mumia. Come learn about the new attacks, the motivation behind these new developments, and what\'s next for the movement to free Mumia.

* Socialism Conference A Success: Around 200 people participated in a Socialism Conference at Los Angeles City College last weekend. It was organized by the PSL. Hear about the conference; discuss your thoughts about it and how to move forward with the organizing ahead.
