DESCRIPTION:
DEMOS against Huntingdon Life Sciences! Saturday November 7, Sunday November 8 and Wednesday November 11 at 12NOON each day

Los Angeles Convention Center 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015

Huntingdon Life Sciences will have a booth at the 2009 AAPS Exposition in Los Angeles. It is critical for all animal rights activists to come out and dedicate all day for the animals. Huntingdon will be looking for business customers at this conference. It is our job to make sure all the other companies (in the hundreds!) attending this exposition know EXACTLY who HLS is and why we are protesting them.

HLS has about 70,000 animals inside their labs, including rabbits, cats, hamsters, dogs, guinea-pigs, birds and monkeys. These animals are destined to suffer and die in cruel, useless experiments.

They will test anything for anybody. They carry out experiments which involve poisoning animals with household products, pesticides, drugs, herbicides, food colorings and additives, sweeteners and genetically modified organisms. (For more details on these horrific tests, visit: http://www.shac.net/HLS/what_tests.html)

Every three minutes an animal dies inside Huntingdon totaling 500 innocent lives every single day.

In addition, Huntingdon Life Sciences is the most exposed laboratory in the world. In recent years they have been infiltrated and exposed at least seven separate times for disgusting animal cruelty and rule breaking. Each time horrific evidence of animal abuse and staff incompetence has been uncovered, including workers punching beagle puppies in the face, tampering experiments and creating fraudulent results.

HLS is in a financial crisis right now, and these demos are extremely important towards closing down the largest contract testing laboratory in Europe.

The beagles, rabbits, monkeys and other innocent animals inside HLS laboratories are counting on YOU to make a stand.

In the meantime, politely call, email, write or fax AAPS and inform them about HLS and why they should not allow such a company to soil their exposition: American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists 2107 Wilson Blvd, Suite 700, Arlington, VA 22201-3042 Main Telephone: (703) 243 2800 Main Fax: (703) 243 9650
