Art + Bikes = FUN!!! Urban Expeditions presents the ArtNight Ride on Friday, October 9th at 6:00 pm.

Riders should meet starting at 6:00pm at One Colorado where they can enjoy the shops and two ArtNight exhibits, check out the C.I.C.L.E. events calendar, and socialize with other cyclists. The ride begins promptly at 7:00pm with 20 minute stops at the following venues: Armory Center for the Arts, Pasadena City College Art Gallery, Side Street Projects, and Pasadena Museum of California Art (?PMCA?) and Pacific Asia Museum. Party on the roof of the PMCA at the end of the ride!

Location: Meet at One Colorado on the Smith Alley side (east side alley). One Colorado is bound by Colorado Blvd. on the South, Fair Oaks Ave. on the East, Union St. on the North, and DeLacey Ave. on the West.

What to Bring: Your bicycle, in good running order, with plenty of night lights. (Please have bike(s) inspected and tuned at least once a year at a bike shop.) All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.

Background

Cyclists Inciting Change thru Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that works with individuals and communities to promote the bicycle as a viable, healthy, and sustainable transportation choice. C.I.C.L.E. projects include Bike Week Pasadena, lifestyle focused and skill-building safety workshops, and Urban Expeditions, a monthly community-focused bicycle ride aimed at getting more people out of their cars and onto bikes. www.CICLE.org :: 323.478.0060
