donation at the door and/or plus an item donation such as diapers, hygiene/baby products, clothing, etc.

Women have become victims of a prison industrial complex that seeks to imprison them for their alleged gang associations with convictions based on the areas they reside in. Sentences range from 5 to 140 years of imprisonment. Many of these women, if not all, are mothers who after being unjustly incarcerated are forced to have their children in the detention centers. These children, all under age 2 live in subhuman conditions with their mothers struggling to provide for them because the system will not provide any form of aid.

In an effort to alleviate the horrible living conditions that these women and children are forced to live under, Homies Unidos & El Comite de Mujeres Patricia Marin are working in collaboration to raise funds and basic supplies to send to El Salvador.

Requested Donations are: baby products, diapers, hygiene products, clothes, etc. that will be shipped to Penal Center of Quezaltepeque in El Salvador; they house 140 women and 20 children between the ages of 2 months and 2 years.

Please help us bring some dignity to these families lives.

For more information or if you are unable to attend, yet still want to support, please contact Nathalie Contreras from Homies Unidos, at (213) 383-7484.
