DESCRIPTION:
Guest speakers: Christina López, Chicana-Apache immigrant rights warrior, and Anne Slater, Radical Women firebrand and National Organizer.

López and Slater are on a national speaking tour, mobilizing women and their allies to make a stand against rightwing racism, layoffs and state budgets balanced on the backs of public workers, children and the ill. López is a longtime abortion clinic defender and a pacesetter in Radical Women’s Comrades of Color Caucus. Slater is a member of Queer Ally Coalition and led a community college unionization drive in 2008. The two recently launched Seattle’s grassroots group Sisters Organize for Survival.

Door donation .00. Summer BBQ Buffet served at 4:30pm for a donation. Sliding scale or work exchange available for strikers and low-income. Proceeds will benefit Radical Women’s ,000 Fund Drive.
