On international women\'s day, march 8, join women in 60 countries for the 10th global women's strike at a town hall meeting entitled Invest in Caring Not Killing: Women\'s Global Work Surviving Poverty, War & Occupation

Come explore women's struggles globally and locally to reclaim the money and other resources now spent on war and occupation.

Panels include: Iraq, Haiti, Palestine: Occupation is the Crime with speakers and video presentations by: Hanna Ibrahim of Women?s Will Association, Iraq; and Sara Kershnar of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network.

Also, the global movement for wages and other resources for caregivers including: women prisoners; mothers struggling to get back children unjustly taken by the state; relative caregivers; impact of California State Budget Cuts; justice work and police illegality; food security and caring for the land; youth activists; arts and action; more. We will discuss concrete actions those of us from different networks can take together.
