Stanley Weiser is the screenwriter of "W" and "Wall Street"- directed by Oliver Stone. Other movie writing credits include "Project X," "Rudy," "The Rudy Giuliani Story" and the civil Rights dramas "Murder In Mississippi," and "Freedom Song."
Weiser will discuss the profound way his Shambhala Buddhist Meditation practice has influenced his career, as well as its relation to his continuing path as successful screenwriter. The Shambhala Center also offers holiday meditation talks to find peace in turbulent times every Tuesday night in December 7:30 pm for no cost.
The evenings start with free sitting meditation followed by a talk and discussion aimed at maintaining our sanity in a sometimes-overwhelming holiday environment.
