DESCRIPTION:
The Not In Our Name Project Los Angeles will be having a fundraiser/yardsale to help with the day to day operation of the organization. Please invite friends, family as a way to help support the movement. We are also accepting donations for the yardsale as well!



In the year that NION has been in existence we have been able to make significant strides and we aim to continue the work. Some examples include:

- Drafted a Pledge of Resistance that clearly and powerfully states our philosophy, and offers the American people a better alternative to blind obedience.

- Created a Statement of Conscience that has been published in over 400 newspapers across the country.

- Attracted prominent artists, writers, musicians, philosophers, and poets to be signatories of this Statement of Conscience.

- Spearheaded an immensely successful March 5th National Moratorium, during which thousands of students on hundreds of campuses walked out of class and took to the streets.

We however do need your support and participation in stopping this government's whole juggernaut of war and repression. Please join us at our regular meetings, the next one is May 21st from 7PM at Casa Del Pueblo the address there is:
