This is life under capitalism.  Is there a better way?  Can we build a better society? "Why socialism?" is a vital question for all those who are coming to realize that the current capitalist society is designed in the interest of profit for a tiny few and not for the people. It is especially important for activists during an election year.

Come to a Party for Socialism and Liberation Marxism class this Saturday on "What is Socialism?" At the class, we\'ll discuss Marxist theory, practice and analyze historic events and trends in an informal setting that is oriented toward discussion. If you are interested in socialism and the PSL, please attend this class.

We will focus on the history of the socialist movement, the origins of Marxism, and how socialism provides an answer for the problems caused by the decadent capitalist system.
