4,000 US Dead in Iraq vigil MONDAY - Downtown Federal Building - Los Angeles
The occupation of Iraq has now lasted for more than 5 years. The 6th year of loss of life, destructuion of lives and injustice has begun.
We will soon see another tragic milestone in this tragic war. TODAY's count of US service members who had died in Iraq was 4,000. Since the count of US troops who have died has reached 4,000 we want to commemorate and remember the dead US troops, contractors, reporters, NGO staff and Iraqi civilians, soldiers, police and others who have died over the duration of the misguided invasion, war and occupation of Iraq.
Please join us in Downtown Los Angeles at the Federal Building at 300 N Los Angeles St at 8 AM the morning after 4,000 dead US troops have been announced. This is for a morning of Monday March 24
What: On the morning after the 4,000 US troop death we will gather for a vigil and reading of names of the dead at the downtown Federal Building at 8 AM on Monday.
