DESCRIPTION:
On April 12, please join labor, community, campus, religious, and peace groups in a pilgrimage for peace, justice and unity for all people. We march in the spirit of Cesar Chavez to say no to war, and yes to peace and social justice. In this spirit the march and rally will focus on supporting efforts to stop a war abroad and to stop a war at home against widespread budget cuts that hurt poor and working people.

On April 12:

10:30- Ecumenical Service at Our Lady of the Assumption Church(435 Berkeley Ave. Claremont)

11:00- Begin march to Pomona City Hall. This is a 6 mile march: water, first aid, and transportation for those who need it will be provided.

~3:00- When we arrive at city hall, we will have speakers, music, and food. Transportation back to Claremont is available on public transportation and by carpools

This march has been endorsed by many community groups and leaders, including:

San Gabriel/Pomona Valley Latino Roundtable, Our Lady of Assumption Church, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement-San Gabriel Valley, Claremont Colleges Student Peace Coalition.

HELP BUILD THE PEACE MOVEMENT IN YOUR COMMUNITY!

SI SE PUEDE!
