DESCRIPTION:
Stop the business-as-usual of dragging youth into the war machine! Support and spread the anti-recruitment resistance in Berkeley!

Spread the orange wave of resistance! - wear orange, as well as black armbands for the Iraq Moratorium.

"Everyone who supports the Berkeley City Council's courageous stand against this immoral, illegitimate war and occupation of Iraq must make our support public, loud, and real. The whole country is watching. We are the majority, in Berkeley, in this country, and in the world," said Giovanni Jackson, youth organizer for the Bay Area chapter of The World Can't Wait – Drive Out the Bush Regime. "We do not support a military that is engaging in war crimes and crimes against humanity. When U.S. soldiers sign up for the military, they give up all their rights. They can be executed for disobeying orders. Think about what they are being ordered to do. We are learning more every day about the U.S. military carrying out orders to torture at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo. But the great majority of people in the United States are against torture, against this war, and the Bush administration launching this war based on lies."
