Author Nathan Gonzalez will be speaking Sunday afternoon in South Pasadena on his new book ?Engaging Iran?.

Gonzalez is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post. His \\\\"Five Reasons to deal diplomatically with Iran\\\\" include how engaging Iran can get the United States out of Iraq.

In 2002, Gonzalez received special recognition from UCLA for research that correctly predicted that an invasion of Iraq would lead to sectarian violence and the strengthening of Iran.

This South Pasadena event is part of a nation-wide book tour. It will be held this Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 4 pm, at the South Pasadena Senior Center, 1102 Oxley st, South Pasaden, 91030. The center is part of the South Pasadena Library.

This event is free. In the Holiday Spirit, you are invited to bring a food item to share if you like.
