DESCRIPTION:
Saturday, March 31st, at 9:30am at Echo Park United Methodist Church, 1226 N. Alvarado St. L.A. CA 90026. In the assembly, homeless/former homeless and their supporters will be speaking on issues such as affordable housing, hunger, healthcare, homeless civil rights, being homeless as a womyn, and the working homeless. It is my hope that in the assembly we invite people to journey with our brothers and sisters as we embark on a journey to rescue back Homeless People\\\\\\\\'s Respect, Dignity and ultimately recover back our humanity. It order for us to embark on this road, the people will be informed that the only way for us to get to our destination is by engaging ourselves in horizontal relationships. No longer must we look to the top for the issues that\\\\\\\\'s affecting the people at the bottom. Vertical relationships has never work and will never work. The supporters of the event are; autonomous people\\\\\\\\'s collective, axis of justice, case del pueblo, copwatch l.a., eastside cafe echospace, food not bombs, hunger action l.a., hollywood community action network, los angeles community action network, revolutionary autonomous communities and echo park united methodist church:ministerio de liberacion.
