Ignacio Meneses is a long-time trade unionist with deep roots in the trade union movement and in the immigrant-rights struggle in the U.S. He has organized countless trips of workers from throughout the U.S. and Canada to see first-hand the gains by workers in Cuba, and the ongoing struggles of all workers in the Americas that must daily confront the neo-liberal policies of the U.S. in their countries. Hear an overview of some of the topics that will be addressed by the conference's international panelists: - US/Cuba/Venezuela/Mexico Relations - FTAA/ALBA (ALBA as a response to the FTAA) - Immigration US/Latin America Meneses will outline how you can get involved and participate in the upcoming third annual U.S./Cuba Labor Exchange conference in Tijuana, Mexico, Dec. 8, 9 and 10. In Tijuana you will meet with trade unionists from Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Oaxaca, Mexico City, cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
