Attendees will receive a copy of the book, Los Angeles: Structure of a City Government, which was commissioned by the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles, funded by The John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation, and written by Dr. Sonenshein. This comprehensive and largely new overview of Los Angeles city government today replaces one published by the League in 1964, which was updated several times over the years, most recently in 1986.
