The Laguna Beach Day Laborers, along with activists in Orange County and LA will be countreprotesting the racist Minutemen/SOS. While it is very important to stand up to these racists. It is more important for a couple of reasons.

1. The Minutemen are trying to prove that with intense pressure, they can shut a day labor center down. They have already tried through the city council, now they have filed a lawsuit against the city. The point of them coming to the day labor site is to harrass and scare the day laborers and employers. If they succeed in closing the Laguna Beach day labor site, then they\'ll try to turn that victory into a campaign to do it nationwide. We cannot let that happen. The Minutemen/SOS must be stopped dead in their tracks.

2. For months, they have been harrassing day laborers at this site. As a result of that, the most reactonary of their supporters are getting emboldened and pushing their luck as to what they think they can get away with. Thus, two weeks ago, a pair of neo-nazis affiliated with these racist groups attacked one day laborers and ran their SUV into the fence at the day labor site, sending one worker to the hospital. These attacks will only get worse if the people needed to confront the Minutemen don\'t show up.

Come and stand side by side with the Day laborers at the Laguna Beach Day Labor Site and defend it from racists. Let them know that their racism is not acceptable and that it must stop now!!
