Myoung-Joon Kim is director of MediACT, Korea's first public access media center, which provides low cost training and facilities for public access and independent film and video as well as policy research and advocacy. Kim is a founder of PRISM, one of the main organizational advocates for public access, media democracy and video activism in Korea, and a founder of Labor News Production (LNP), which produces documentaries and educational videos on the labor movement, leads training workshops in media production for, and hosts the annual Seoul International Labor Film Festival.
