The Cuban Revolution Shows the Way:

Lessons for Working People in the U.S.

?There will be a victorious revolution

in the United States before a victorious

counterrevolution in Cuba,? said Fidel Castro in 1961.

For decades the Cuban people have not only stood up against U.S. imperialism, but extended a fighting hand of solidarity to all other toilers and fighters from around the world, including inside the United States.

Come to a discussion that will take up:

? How workers and farmers in Cuba established political power and used it to fight exploitation, racism, and womens? inequality.

? How the fights for legalization of immigrant workers, to organizing unions throughout the country, defending a women?s right to choose abortion, fights against cop brutality, and other working class struggles are integral to the fight for socialism in the U.S. and around the world.

Speaker: Tom Leonard, veteran leader of the Socialist Workers Party
