Join the ANSWER Coalition and the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five for a screening of the film ?Fidel: the Untold Story? by award-winning filmmaker Estela Bravo. We?ll be honoring the Cuban president on his 80th birthday and the ongoing Cuban revolution. There will be the film, discussion, a birthday cake, snacks, cards for everyone to sign and more.
Fidel shares a birthday with unjustly imprisoned hero, Ren? Gonz?lez, one of the Cuban Five. We?ll be celebrating Ren??s birthday too.
Plus: Report from Aug. 12 national protests. And update on Fidel?s health and the U.S. plans to overthrow the Cuban revolution.
