DESCRIPTION:

Dr. Edith Cole, psychologist, under the auspices of the American Friends Service Committee, has played a key role in the establishment of a school for Afghan refugee girls in Pakistan. The school now serves 300 girls. Dr. Cole has a daughter who embraced Islam, married a native of Pakistan, and moved to Pakistan 15 years ago. She will show slides and lead a discussion.
