This annual festival returns in 2006 with seven summer evening concerts, August 4 through August 12, 2006. The opening concert on Friday August 4, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. will blend together both works of modern composers Madeleine Dring, Gary Schocker, Gernot Wolfgang and classical composers Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Ernest Chausson and Piotr Tchaikovsky. During this concert, the Festival is proud to welcome the versatile and brilliant flutist, Susan Greenberg, who is making her first appearance as one of the Festival?s distinguished faculty artists. Greenberg is the co-artistic director of Chamber Music Palisades and has performed, among others, with the L.A. Philharmonic, the L.A. Chamber Orchestra and the New York City Opera.
