DESCRIPTION:
Join us for the WEST COAST PREMIER OF "WITNESS TO INVASION" - first time shown in the USA.

Rosemarie Gillespie, in Iraq as a "human shield" hoping to prevent the bombing of the Baghdad Water Processing Plant, decided not to leave as America's “Shock and Awe” bombing campaign became more and more imminent. Instead, with an unshakeable commitment to the Iraqi people, she filmed what happened among the civilians as the bombs fell and the troops moved in. See for the first time in the USA, images of this war the US military tried to stop her from filming.

A compelling, emotional story, an unembedded eyewitness view of the war told by the people themselves showing what the population of Iraq was going through as the society they had known up to then was being torn down, day by day.

Exclusive Interview with the filmmaker by one of our South Pasadena members done recently in Caracas, Venezuela where the film premiered.

Suggested Donation ; Students and Seniors,. Free refreshments. Raffle for a copy of the DVD and other Prizes! Don't miss this exclusive! Local organization tabling also.Come on the metro - it's steps away!. Call 626-441-1324 for more information
