Molla is a self-trained painter, for whom painting is an act of spontaneity. His work often surprises the viewer both with his ability to manage the media and with his power to express himself on canvas or paper. Currently, his paintings can be viewed on the website PicassoMio.com as well as at the Guadalupe art center gallery in San Antonio, Texas and also at the Lowe Gallery in Los Angeles and Atlanta. He has had exhibitions in other parts of the World such as San Petesburg Museum of Contemporary Art, Argentina Museum of Modern Art, Italy, Lago di Garda at the Palazzo dei Capitani, and obviously in Madrid and Barcelona.

Along with being an accomplished painter, Jordi is also a self-trained photographer, that has shown his work in LA, Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, Moll? is also very interested in video art creations which has involved him in several festivals and exhibitions with different videos and installations. Currently he is working on a project called CINEMART, a compilation of 22 videos mixing styles from cinema to documentary to videoart.

Moll? spends a large quantity of time in Madrid where the calm of ?being home? allows him the best opportunity to think, create, paint, write and just be an artist.

The work of Jordi Molla will be on exhibition in Los Angeles at Glu Gallery from April 8 through June 3, 2006. A reception will be held on April 8th from 7pm to 10pm. Glu Gallery is located at 7424 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036.
