CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
and Concert
to commemorate the
Third Anniversary
of the Invasion of Iraq!
Hundreds of citizens will mourn the dead in Iraq with a candle light vigil and a concert of peace songs. Coffins, crosses, mourning attire will represent visually the fact that too many have died.
There will be music. Joining the corner band, Playing In Traffic (www.playingintraffic.net) will be The Believers, Maria Armoudian (confirmation pending) and signer-songfighter Ross Altman.
Every single Friday, for over three years, Neighbors for Peace and Justice San Fernando Valley have been vigiling for peace at that corner.
This is the only commemorative event in the San Fernando Valley.
