Similar meetings of this nature have been conducted back East. From it people have received invaluable information about real estate, health, financial matters and even instances of an acting and singing career taking off.
This community open forum is an experiment in networking for the expressed purpose of exchanging and exploring ideas for a better and more productive African American community. There will be a Keynote Speaker addressing issues currently affecting and involving the Black community.
If successful, this will be an ongoing affair once a month, last Thursday, of each month relative to social issues. We are all different but we have one common bond, our voices. Your voice is important, take an interest in your community, come by let us hear what you have to say. If you are tired of just talking about problems and would like to take action and be a part of the solution, come on by.
Some of the issues to be discussed is atitude, promptness and self-discipline. So please be on time it makes for a good start towards self-discipline. The meeting starts at 7:00pm. See you then!
