Billions are redirected to Iraq for conquest, death and destruction, but too little too late to the Gulf States for rescue, relief and reconstruction! Troops Out Now Coalition has called for nationally coordinated protests, and International Action Center - L.A. will hold a demonstration at Westwood Federal Building at 6 pm on Monday, September 12th to coincide with more than sixty other cities on that day. Join with others to demand that the billions being spent on the Iraq war be redirected for immediate food, medicine, water, clothing and emergency shelter for the people of the region, a massive jobs and housing program, an end to the criminalization of Katrina victims, and an independent international investigation of the criminal negligence that caused so much unnecessary suffering.
