Our last Peak Oil Discussion in the Park went very well (read more at http://www.peakoilaction.org) and it is time to meet again. This discussion in the park was started because so many people are not able to make the Oil Awareness meetup (http://OilAwareness.meetup.com) on the 2nd Wednesdays of each month.
Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park is centrally located, has Huge Trees (important!), a playground, and free parking.
One item I propose to discuss are ways to take action now, so we can get some momentum going. Things we can start on right away (like we've done with organizing screenings of End of Suburbia). I'm also interested in hearing ideas from some of you who haven't attended our previous meetings, and hearing what ideas everyone has.
