In these troubled times life can sometimes seem overwhelming and just thinking about adding one more thing to your schedule can seem like ''too much.'' Here is an opportunity to slow down and see life from a new perspective.

Please join the Los Angeles community in Silent Sacred Walks where we walk for peace and unity. This was launched in September 2001 and has continued monthly on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

The requirements for this walk are that you dress in white if possible and that you walk in complete silence for the duration of the walk.

We operate under the principle that Gandhi said so succinctly, ''There is no path to peace. Peace is the path.''
