Do you want to do more to immediately help people affected by recent natural disasters? Then join us with UCLA on November 14th for a special humanitarian map-a-thon and speaker event.

We will join forces (and compete!) with UCLA on GIS day. Fellow students at USC and UCLA will share their GIS and mapping experiences through short lightning talks.

Come learn more about Open Street Map, Missing Maps, and how you can be part of the humanitarian mapping community.

EVENT DETAILS:

9:30 - 10:00am Registration and coffee/donuts

10am (sharp!) Opening remarks with UCLA

10:10 - 11:00 Student lightning talks

11:00 - 1:45 Mapathon!

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED DURING MAPATHON!

1:45 - 2:00 Closing remarks and leaderboard announcement with which campus mapped the most buildings.
