O’Reilly: “If you are wrong, all right, and if the United States -- and they will, this is going to happen -- goes in, liberates Iraq, people in the street, American flags, hugging our soldiers, all right, we find all kinds of bad, bad stuff, all right, in Iraq, you gonna apologize to George W. Bush?”
Garofalo: “I would be so willing to say I’m sorry, I hope to God that I can be made a buffoon of, that people will say you were wrong, you were a fatalist, and I will go to the White House on my knees on cut glass and say, hey, you were right, I shouldn’t have doubted you. But I think to think that is preposterous.”
Why don't you put your theory to the test and try walking the streets there with a sign that says that you are an American and think the bombing was a good idea? I mean without an escort of tanks. Probably whatever parts of your body are left after an hour or so will be shipped back to the states.
Go ahead and try to parade around in my town shouting antAmerican slogans where many troops families live and lets see what happens to you you little Saddam lover. Better yet, go to Iraq and parade around shouting that the bombing was bad and that Saddam should still be in power! Fucking moron, are you blind?
...you'll hae to excuse Meyer. He's OD'd on Baghdad Bob, Robert Fisk, and Peter Arnett.
I saw a few thousand or maybe a few hundred looters and boot-lickers welcoming the "liberators." Baghdad has a population of about five million. Don't worry, I wouldn't stop in a military town to use the restroom. Go read the book Twenty-Nine Palms; it gives a good description of what those towns are like. Probably of what you are like, too. An ignorant redneck and a fascist.
... a few areas that have been secured most of Baghdad, Propaganda to the contrary, is not secured.
As a side note: Notice all the Iraqi's in Photos with their Thumb's up? In Iraq it means the same thing as giving someone the finger. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ...
Most of the country is not secured. The strategy seems to be to stake out a few prominent spots - shoot a lot of staged photo ops and declare the country secured.
After all the Oil wells are under a strong guard.
Meyer London,
Com'n, who you got for Show in the fifth at Del Mar? It's almost post time.
... guess old 'garaf was right to hold off on the glass breaking... looks like horse sense beat out bluster yet again even in these days of miracle and wonder.
