The California Faculty Association, along with allies from every part of California's public education system, have launched an electronic march -- or E-March -- on the Governor's office, to demand adequate funding for public education in next year's budget proposal. Funding for public schools and colleges has been cut by $17 billion in last two years.
The E-March is the first time stakeholders from across California’s public education spectrum have come together on a budgetary advocacy effort, and will pave the way for more assertive actions around the budget in the coming months.
