Two letters to the editor on the pandemic lockdown

Our collective thinking has often been manipulated and corrupted (eg Vietnam, Iraq, Nicaragua, Iran). According to GlobalResearch.ca, the WHO made a late admission on Jan 20, 2021 that "the lockdown has no scientific basis" and test results are misleading. "Release the vaccines and put an end to the lockdown."

According to GlobalResearch.ca, the WHO made a late admission on Jan 20, 2021 that "the lockdown has no scientific basis" and test results are misleading. "Release the vaccines and put an end to the lockdown," urges Jens Berger, editor of nachdenkseiten.de.

Here are excerpts from two translated letters to the editor of nachdenkseiten.de:

It is a burden to see how our basic rights are suddenly redefined as 'privileges'. However, it is primarily the fact that the population is simply willing to accept this that is oppressive. There seems to be no awareness of the foundations of our democracies any more. I am aware that this is a strong and historically loaded term, but more and more I see a tendency toward obedience to the cadre among my fellow human beings. The authorities order, the subjects obey. For me this impression has the consequence that today I withdraw much more (probably too much than would be really good for me) from my fellow men and seek protection in my own house, which is fortunately big enough. But I pity all those who have to endure in cramped conditions, with little money, with psychological suffering in this lockdown odyssey. And I pity the children who are either further isolated from the digital media than they already are by the omnipresence of these devices, or then have to sit in cold classrooms all day with masks on, because apparently even a year since the outbreak of the pandemic there are no conclusions to return to sanity.

Kind regards P.S.

Letter to the editor

Dear NDS team,

I don't even know where to start with my reflection after one year of lockdown.

The most important thing: My world view has changed completely.

When I see politicians, I think of greed, incompetence and the 'lack of alternatives'.

When I see policemen, I think of the use of water cannons, tear gas, harassment against the 'normal' citizens.

When I think of the media (mass media), I think of indoctrination and one-sided reporting

When I have a different opinion, I am immediately put in a corner

When I think of America (USA), I think of the greatest current torment of the present day

When I think of the EU, I see an aloof, failed bureaucratic monster

When I think of the obscenely super rich, I think of increased poverty in the world

When I think of the pandemic, I wonder how anyone can seriously suspend civil liberties permanently

When I think of Germany, I wonder what happened to the free, open country with self-determining citizens

....

Absolutely 'condemnable' is the disregard, of the tremendous collateral damage caused by the 'alternative-less' lockdown, especially to our children and our elderly - that is unforgivable!

Thanks for having them (NDS Team) - appreciate this very broad, open, spectrum of opinion!

We need you!
