Toyota Ky is where Toyota has moved it'S. manufacturing. Fremont CA has been shuttered. Jesse Jackson the leader of Operation Push has won a 10 year agreement funding Operation Push with $.8 Billion in US dollars. Thats 0 million each year.

Jesse Jackson is saying the .8 billion will go to minority companies that own parts manufacturing or the advertising companies. But these are only a handful in an area that is 85% Caucasian.

Not only is no US money going to these parts of the production cycle but no money is going to the workforce on the floor of the important assembly plant. Nor to the metro area nor to the University of Kentucky relatively a short hop away also in Lexington.

The Fremont assembly plant has been closed and the Lexington Toyota plant is non union.

Over 1 hour east of Lexington lay the Appalachian Ky. An area of 56 counties that have specific poverty and unemployment definitions. This area is ky but is considered to be the worst areas in the US after Native American tribal reservations.Part of these counties wre in the 100,000 job applicants who applied for 1,000 job openings. 10,000were selected for formal interviews.

Lexington was once a multi county area for grow hemp, processing hemp and transporting furrnished cloth and paper until this was outlawed in the 1930's by an overactive federal gov. Now Lexington has thoroughbred horses and a spiffy Japanese owned assembly plant that is named Toyota and employs many local people in skilled high wage positions.
