Tell Gov Brown to Evict Matthew Jacobs by Removing Him From the California Housing Finance Agency Board
Governor Jerry Brown appointed Matthew Jacobs to Chair the California Housing and Finance Agency, a body charged with supporting affordable housing production. But Jacobs plans to demolish rent-controlled homes and displace long-term tenants to build luxury housing. It is appalling that the Chair of an agency dedicated to affordable housing would himself utilize the Ellis Act to destroy affordable housing and displace long-term tenants.
We need your help in asking Governor Brown to immediately remove Matthew Jacobs from the board of the California Housing and Finance Agency. Jacobs has no moral right to lead an affordable housing state agency.
It's easy to help. Just click and fill out the short form and your message with be sent to the Governor. Thanks to Tenants Together for providing the form.
