LOS ANGELES. Alternate Monday evenings, beginning August 4, 6:30pm
Crash Course in Socialist Feminism. An 8 session bi-weekly study group will examine the connections between feminism, women’s leadership and civil rights for immigrant women and transgender folks. Featured texts to kick off the discussion on race and sex oppression include Woman as Leader, Unpacking Transphobia and Estamos en La Lucha. Alternate Monday evenings, August 4 through November 3, 7:00-8:30 pm. Solidarity Hall, 2122 W. Jefferson Blvd., Los Angeles. Wheelchair accessible. $3 per session.
