intelligence? Not!
The newsmedia, watchdogs of the nation, are no longer pursuing any topics concerning Dennis Marx. He is yesterday's news. Try as I might I can't get any answers to a major question I have. Story after story after story named him as a sovereign citizen. Says who? Seriously, says who? Normally you would know someone is a sovereigh citizen because they say so out loud and/or they leave a paper trail that characterizes them as such. There are no quotations, citations or facts to support naming him as a sovereign citizen. It makes a difference too, because according to MY research ... I actually DO a lot of research, unlike the news media ... sovereign citizens are designated by the fbi and splc as violent extremists. That's what set him up for such horrible treatment during what should have been a common drug raid. I can dismiss the splc right off the cuff, because the more violent extremists they can scare the public with, the more millions of dollars they can wring out of the terrified population. The fbi doesn't tell me their business. But I have gone through piles of text and video articles on the internet. and all I can find is claims that the sovereign citizens have 300.000 members, though there is really no such thing as a member of sovereign citizens. If you say you are then you are. The internet articles cite 3 or 4 killings of police officers. 3 or 4 killings of police officers by a group of 300.000 sets the bar pretty low for being designated as violent extremists. And being designated as a violent extremist sets you up for a raid by the swat team. I want to know, what is the SOURCE of all those news media who identify him as sovereign citizen? Is it now the job of the news media to document their assertions? I do know that Cheryl Greathouse, an instructor at Georgis Public Safety Training Center, offers a list of sovereign citizens and details about them to any offers that she trains. She is not a police officer or investigator. I'm not sure what qualifies her to be collecting and distributing "intelligence". Now that it has turned deadly, it seems like an important question. I also know that, while there are strict laws and policies regulating the collection, use and retention of intelligence by the fbi and gbi, any law enforcement officer, including the fbi and gbi, can keep their own personal files and fatten them with anything they like. The contents of all those internet articles, for example. Gossip from facebook. Questionable information from splc. Even more questionable information from those news media, which causes a vicious cycle, wherein the police collect information from the media and internet and then call it "intelligence" and pass on tips to the very media they got it from. It turns out any member of the public can do the same. You ... yes YOU ... can collect all manner of information on any cop you decide to track. If they find out you're doing it they will accuse you of stalking. When they do it themselves they call it investigation, no matter how inaccurate the information is, and no matter what horrible consequences arise from it.
I still want the answer to that question. Who says Dennis Marx was a sovereign citizen? It cost him a lot to carry that name and somebody needs to own the source.
